1) Return / Replacement Eligibility

  • Since all our products are one of a kind, there is no replacement or exchange policy.
    The product must be in perfect condition, with no damage, stains, marks, or signs of use.

  • Repair, however, can be arranged upon inspection.
     

2) Replacement Terms

  1. Replacement is only applicable for products of equal value or higher price.

  2. Sale products are not eligible for returns or exchanges.

  3. No customization orders can be placed during sales (and sale/customization rules will apply accordingly).
     

3) Store Credit & Validity

  • Most of our items are unique and made to order. For this reason, refunds are generally not applicable.

  • Instead of a refund, we provide store credit with a validity of 6 months from the date it is issued.

  • Store credit and coupon codes cannot be applied on sale items.

  • Any applicable coupon/store credit will follow the limits mentioned during checkout or in the promotion terms.
     

4) Exchange Limitations

  • Metaphors of Earth accepts exchanges for eligible items as per the conditions above.

  • If the product does not meet the eligibility criteria (time limit/condition), the exchange may be rejected.
     

5) Damage in Transit Policy

If your product is damaged during transportation:

  • You must notify us by email within 48 hours of delivery at metaphorsofearth@gmail.com.

  • The item must be returned to our warehouse within 7 days of the delivery.

  • If you do not report within this timeline, Metaphors of Earth may not be able to accept the damage claim.

After we receive the item:

  • We will investigate the damage from our end.

  • We will repair the product and courier it back to the original delivery address.

Courier costs:

  • Customer will bear the cost of sending the product to our warehouse.

  • Metaphors of Earth will bear the expenses of the transaction after repair and for return delivery.
     

6) Damage Due to Usage (Repairs)

For parts that may be damaged due to normal use—such as:

  • locks, studs, screws, buckles, straps, and similar hardware—

repairs (where applicable) will be done within 1 month from the date we receive the product at our warehouse after dispatch from our side.
 

7) Where Returns/Exchanges Are Applicable

Metaphors of Earth acknowledges product returns only for direct online sales between vendor and consumer.
This means:

  • Online orders are eligible, subject to the policy above.

  • Retail outlet purchases are not covered under this returns/exchange policy.

For any return, replacement, or damage claim, email metaphorsofearth@gmail.com with:

  • Order number

  • Delivery date

  • Photos (and any packaging details, if available)
